Our products are specially formulated to be full of clean healthy ingredients with limited chemicals and preservatives. Here's a few tips for keeping your products fresh and long lasting.
Handmade soaps contain lots of glycerin which is a moisture attractant. Keep unused bars dry and stored in a non-humid place in breathable wraps or NAKED (lingerie drawers and linen closets are awesome).
Allow your bars to dry in between uses. Store on a draining soap dish or in a hanging soap bag. Don't allow it to sit in water or in direct stream of water. It will last longer and you won't get that yucky mushy bar.
Precautions: As with any soap, keep it out of your eyes (rinse thoroughly with plain water if this occurs), and discontinue using if irritation develops. Be sure to check the ingredients if you have allergies or sensitive skin. Soap is slippery when wet, so take care not to step on a wet bar while in the shower. And finally, we know the soaps smell really good, but we wouldn't recommend eating it.
Best if used within 1 year of purchase for essential oil fragrance retention, but will last forever!
Body Butters & Solid Lotion Bars
Our Body Butters and Lotion Bars are a combination of rich oils, butters and essential oil fragrance.
Body Butters are whipped to give you a soft fluffy texture and begin to melt at approximately 76 degrees. Our butters come in insulated containers that are able to keep the butters solid up to approximately 80 degrees.
If your Butter becomes too soft, they can be placed in the refrigerator to harden. Shea Butter tends to get grainy after melting and hardening several times. This does not change the integrity of the product.
Solid Lotion Bars contain the same ingredients as our Body Butters and are made solid with Natural Bee's Wax to allow portability and an extra level of skin protection. Bars melt at a higher temperature than body butters, but they will soften in hot temperatures. Store at room temperature for best results.
If your bar does soften, toss it in the fridge or freezer for a short time and they'll harden right back up. These bars also contain Shea Butter and graininess may occur if melted and rehardend frequently. This does not change the integrity of the product.
Best if used within 6 months of purchase.
Our scrubs are meant to exfoliate and leave the skin feeling clean and smooth.
Our sugar scrubs contain formaldehyde - free preservatives to ensure your scrub stays bacteria free. Alkaline levels in salt scrubs make the environment not so friendly to bacteria, so they are preservative free.
To keep your scrubs fresh and germ free, keep the container tightly closed when not and use. Use a spatula or other scoop to remove just enough product for use. Keep water out.
Salt Scrubs are great for skin health, but not so great for sensitive skin or directly after a shave!
Sugar Scrubs are great for sensitive skin that needs gently exfoliation and it won't burn freshly shaved or waxed body parts.
Emulsified Scrubs leave a soft clean feel without the oily residue on you or your shower.
Non-Emulsified Scrubs are excellent to softening rough dry skin and leaves a wonderful protective layer to lock in moisture.

Bath Bombs, Soaks and Teas
Our bath bombs, soaks and teas are meant to enhance your bath experience with soothing ingredients for your mind and body.
Bath Bombs include ingredients to soften and smooth skin while providing fizzy entertainments. Bombs may include skin nourishing oils/butters that could make your tub slippery, so be careful. Colorants may discolor tub, but are easily removed with a gentle cleanser. Unused bath bombs should be kept out of direct sunlight and in a sealed bag/container to maintain fizz and essential oil/fragrance integrity.
Shower Steamers enhance your shower experience by providing effervescent release of essential oils/fragrance into the steam of your shower. Steamers should be placed on the floor of shower/tub and away from drain in stream of water. Steamers contain a very small amount of oil, but care should be taken to avoid slipping. Unused Steamers should be kept out of direct sunlight and stored in a sealed bag/container to maintain fizz and essential oil/fragrance integrity.
Bath Soaks include herbs, salts, milks and oils to provide a variety of benefits to the skin and body. Herbal tea soak bags are single use only and should be discarded or composted after use. Select products that fit your individual needs as some products may cause sensitivities to individuals with allergies or specific medical conditions (i.e. bath salts should not be used by individuals with hypertension). Unused soaks should be kept out of direct sunlight and stored in a sealed bag/container to maintain fizz and essential oil/fragrance integrity.
